Consultant presence extends across the enhanced working week and provides cover during out of hours or off peak periods across the entire week including weekends.The offer includes:<ul><li>Basic salary range of €217.235 to €261.051</li><li>€40.000 to €50.000 in possible extra earnings via on-call and evening hours</li><li>37 hours per week</li><li>€12.000 per annum extra for professional development</li><li>30 days annual leave and an extra 10 days public holidays</li><li>Additional leave for special circumstances (volunteering, sickness, bereavement, education)</li><li>Annual research grants</li><li>Full medical indemnity provided</li></ul>General Responsibilites include:<ol><li>Demonstrate appropriate experience and ability in providing respiratory &amp;general medical services at a Consultant level</li><li>Demonstrate evidence of effective planning and organising skills including awareness of resource management and importance of value for money</li><li>Ability to liaise with service providers on a local and regional basis.</li><li>Ability and experience to participate in teaching, audit and research.</li><li>Demonstrate effective communication skills including: the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner; the ability to facilitate and manage groups through the learning process; the ability to give constructive feedback to encourage learning</li><li>Demonstrate awareness and appreciation of the service users</li><li>Demonstrate leadership and team management skills including the ability to work with multi disciplinary team members</li><li>Demonstrate evidence of ability to empathise with and treat patients, relatives and colleagues with dignity and respect.</li><li>Demonstrate evidence of computer skills including the use of power point and the internet as a research tool e.g. Display evidence based clinical knowledge in making decisions regarding client care</li></ol>

You will be responsible for:<ul><li>Consultation and Pre-operative Care: You'll meet with patients to discuss their desired outcomes, assess their medical history and suitability for surgery, explain potential risks and complications, and answer any questions they may have.</li><li>Surgical Procedures: You'll perform a variety of elective surgeries to enhance appearance mainly in body, breast and face.</li><li>Post-operative Care: You'll monitor patients' recovery, address any concerns, and provide instructions for healing and optimal results.</li><li>Adherence to Medical Standards: It's important to ensure all procedures follow strict hygiene protocols and adhere to best practices within the field.</li><li>Patient Management: You'll manage patient expectations, communicate effectively, and prioritize patient safety throughout the entire process.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain your knowledge and skillset by completing annual CPD</li></ul>This role is primarily based out of the Dublin clinic but you will have responsibilities in their satellite clinics.
