Job Description

A unique opportunity for an experienced chef de partie ready to make the step up, to join our team! You’ll play an exciting role in our al fresco restaurant. The opportunity to work within an award-winning business as part of a pioneering, proactive, dynamic and friendly team, at the forefront of the English Wine Industry. About the Role

You will be supporting the head chef & sous chef within the kitchen team while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and alignment to the Ridgeview brand and values. You will make sure that the food is prepared as per requirements, produced and served on time. You will be ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and outstanding experiences. You will make sure that high cleaning standards are maintained and that the kitchen is left to a 5 stars hygiene pre & post service. You will be representing Ridgeview off-site at consumer and trade events, being an ambassador and promoting brand awareness.

Experience required

• Significant experience in a relevant Chef de partie role, ideally with experience and be supportive with the opening of a new high end food offering (120+ covers)

• Experience of successfully managing high levels of food safety compliance

• Ensure wastage is minimised by careful supervision of preparation methods

Additional requirements

• Due to the location of the business the ability to drive is desirable

• A DBS check will be required for this role in line with our safeguarding procedures and the requirement to work with under 18’s.
