The combined business, Alvarium Tiedemann Holdings (AlTi) is expected to be valued at $1.4 billion, to have combined assets under management of over $50 billion and be listed on Nasdaq and will have access to substantial capital for further investments. The focus will remain on high net-worth individuals across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific with a focus on impact or values-aligned investing.

Job Description

Role

  • The role is a coordinating function between the investment, relationship management and operational activities for the team.
  • Responsible for building strong long-term relationships with the team’s clients (UHNW individuals, family offices and semi-institutional clients) by providing an excellent client experience on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensuring that incoming client requests to the team are dealt with promptly and through close coordination with relationship managers and investment professional.
  • Main client contact is over email and telephone but also through meetings in person or over videoconference.
  • Building close relationships with and understanding the role of the relevant Alvarium internal stakeholders.
  • Be a key liaison with custodian banks with regard to account-opening processes for clients, taking account of the custodian specific and local regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting relationship managers with KYC information gathering where required and updating documents when needed in liaison with custodian banks.
  • Ensuring close follow-up of documentation requirements (KYC and investment suitability /appropriateness information) by contacting clients in coordination with the relationship managers.
  • Assisting the team with trade order input to custodian banks, cash management and monitoring of trade settlement, as well as liaising with clients and custodians in relation to client payment requests.
  • Supporting relationship managers and investment professionals with the preparation of client portfolio reviews and investment proposals / marketing presentations.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks where required.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in private wealth management or similar for an FCA regulated business would be advantageous;
  • Highly numerate with good communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Good technology skills (knowledge of Excel, Multrees Compass, Morningstar, Bloomberg and Addepar advantageous).
  • Practical, collaborative and 'can-do' approach.
  • Effective self-management and time management skills including the ability quickly to adapt to change;
  • Dynamic and detail oriented with a willingness to see jobs right through to completion.
