Alvarium has over 220 employees and 28 Partners advising on circa $22 billion of assets across four service lines — investment advisory, co-investments, merchant banking and family office services.

Alvarium has recently announced plans to merge with a US investment and wealth advisor firm in early 2022. The combined business, Alvarium Tiedemann Holdings (AlTi) is expected to be valued at $1.4 billion, to have combined assets under management of over $50 billion and be listed on Nasdaq and will have access to substantial capital for further investments. The focus will remain on high net-worth individuals across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific with a focus on impact or values-aligned investing.

Job Description

Your Role

  • Overall responsibility for talent acquisition across all business lines of the group including our support divisions
  • Point of contact for the end-to-end recruitment process working closely with the HRBPs
  • Partner with HRBPs and line managers to discuss new vacancies and resourcing strategy, promoting opportunities and ways which will improve diversity in our hiring process
  • Actively encouraging the use of direct sourcing and being expert at this form of recruitment
  • Work with our DE&I strategic partnerships (in the UK this is Access Aspiration and GAIN UK) to promote current and future opportunities, with the aim of increasing candidates coming through from underrepresented groups
  • Be an expert on writing inspiring, inclusive job descriptions
  • Liaise with Assistants to ensure interviews are scheduled
  • Guide and advise stakeholders on offer processes, selling strategies and resignation support
  • Be the key point of contact for our PSL agency relationships and help them to manage successful relationships with us
  • Provide crisp, timely reporting to senior and line management to keep them regularly informed on recruitment projects against budget, plus keep an overview of our annual activities
  • Assessment of recruiting processes across all organisations/locations to create a cohesive AlTi approach
  • Work with the HRBPs to implement interview skills training
  • Assist with Graduate and Internship recruitment as and when needed
  • Work with marketing to develop/maintain company careers page
  • Managing the ATS

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Experience in recruiting into the Wealth and Asset Management space either from an agency, RPO or in-house environment
  • The ability to manage multiple different local and international stakeholders and roles
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Knowledge of headhunting and LinkedIn
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to work across cultures and in a hybrid workplace
  • A strong focus on DE&I
  • Comfortable with working in a small entrepreneurial team where we all muck in and help each other
  • Strong MS Office experience in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
